Boomerang Boat Tours reopened this July while following DC's Covid-19 safety guidleines. The feedback has been great and our new style of cruising has been a huge hit!

Open Air Socially Distanced Rooftop Cruises

Book one of our seven rooftop sections for up to six people and join us for a beautiful cruise on the Potomac River on the top deck of our open air party yacht on Fridays & Saturdays!
Purchase a section and get ready to enjoy a 2hr cruise including:

-Your own reserved socially distanced section for up to six people on our top deck. Each section will be clearly marked and socially distanced from the others.

-Open bar with your own server including top shelf liquor, beer, wine, seltzers, bottled water, sodas, & juices.

-A pre-packaged snack basket for each section.

-Music (live music & DJs are not currently allowed in DC, so surround sound music will be provided via Ipod).

-Breathtaking DC panoramic cityscape.

What's New?

We are thrilled to announce that Boomerang Boat Tours is currently building another vessel for Washington, DC! We have paused our launch date due to supplier delays as a result of Covid related factory shut downs, but this soon to be blue beauty will be launching either this fall, or March of 2021. Additional details coming soon!

Saying Goodbye..

With the launch of our fourth Boomerang Boat, we decided it was time to retire our very first vessel. The original Boomerang Boat which launched in DC in 2012 had quite a past.. She was built in Wisconsin before spending time on a lake in Nevada! She then made her way to Texas to become the Corpus Christie Harbor Ferry. When the owner retired, Boomerang purchased the vessel, towed it to a Houston area shipyard, and spent nine months converting her into the party boat that Washingtonians grew to love! It was a labor of love which included all the blood, sweat, and tears. The memories on this boat are absolutely endless & we hope that you have many as well.

Where will she go next?

Considering her colorful past, she wasn't the type of vessel to spend her last days on dry land & you will be happy to hear that she has been converted once again! Our lovely Boomerang Boat is now a part of oyster aquaculture as she has been converted into an oyster farm in southern Virginia!

Thank you to everyone who cruised with us on our very first Boomerang Boat from 2012 - 2019. She hosted weddings, birthdays, corporate events, college graduations, first dates, tourists, happy hours, bachelorette parties, and SO much more. She has been officially retired & was converted into a Virginian oyster farm!

The Party Yacht's rooftop is large enough to accommodate up to 42 guests during Stage 2 (seven sections of six people) while still practicing social distancing! Each section is roughly 10' by 18'.

The Party Yacht's top deck is one of DC's best rooftops! You can enjoy the sights, sun, sunset, or moonlight while sipping a cocktail & enjoying music!

The Party Yacht was the third vessel in our fleet and she was launched in 2015 after being custom built for Washington, DC! Come celebrate with us!

Where's the Pirate Ship, Matey?
At this time our Pirate Ship is still closed as we continue to navigate consumer confidence and CDC guidelines. However, please stay tuned as we hope to announce an opening date soon!

The Pirate Ship is eagering awaiting another season on the Potomac to share our booty & grog with you!
