Pre-Law Intern Walk-In Hours
The Pre-Law Advising Intern, Leizl, will be the only advisor to have walk-in hours during the following times:
Wednesday: 10:00 AM - 1:30 PM
Thursday: 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Alternatively, email prelaw@usc.edu to set up an appointment with her.

    Farewell Daniela, Hello Eric
    We say our goodbye to one of our pre-law advisors, Daniela Ochoa.  She has been an invaluable asset to the Pre-Law Team for over a year. She will be greatly missed. 
    As we move into the new year, we welcome our new advisor, Eric Greer.
    Eric Greer is a California native who completed his B.A. in Communications at Humboldt State University. After graduating, his desire to live abroad led him to South Korea, Australia and Dubai where he worked as an instructor and academic/career counselor. During his 7 years as an expatriate, he pursued an M.S. in Human Behavior from Capella University and completed it shortly after relocating back to Los Angeles. With nearly 10 years of experience in education, Eric is excited to be advising our Pre-Law, American Studies & Ethnicity, and Comparative Literature majors and minors by assisting them make the most of their academic experience at USC.

    Join us on Saturday, February 25th from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. as we aboard a chartered bus to Chapman University to learn more about the law school admission process and discover what Fowler School of Law has to offer.  This free event, sponsored by Chapman, will showcase law school life.  The Open House will include a student panel, competition team demonstration, admissions and financial aid presentations, a welcome from the Dean and a tour of the law school.  Lunch will be provided.

    California Innocence Project: Talk with Board Member Jasmin Harris
    The Blackstonians Pre-law Honor Society is honored to be hosting an upcoming event with California Innocence Project Board Member and Co-Coordinator of Pro-Bono Volunteers Jasmin Harris. We will also be lucky enough to hear from one of the project's wrongly incarcerated exonerees whom the organization helped free using DNA evidence. There will be a Q&A session following the program, and refreshments will be provided.
    The event will take place this Thursday, January 19th at 5:30pm in Doheny Library room DML 240.
    Salmen Navarro & Lavergne, P.C - Seeking Legal Interns
    Fast-growing New York-based Immigration law firm is seeking to hire a highly motivated Legal Intern for its downtown Los Angeles office, approximately 10 minutes from USC. Seeking a Legal Intern with an interest in learning an array of Immigration Law issues and specific aspects of Business Law. Interns will have the opportunity to learn about employment and family-based petitions, Consular Processing, and Litigation as well as certain issues involving entities, licensing, and trademark issues. We are seeking Legal Interns fluent in Spanish and/or another foreign language to work 15 - 20 hours per week. Excellent research, communication, and writing skills required. This is a rewarding non-paid internship for school credit.
