Tuesday: 2:00-5:00 PM
Wednesday: 10:00 AM - 1:30 PM

Thursday: 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM

    First Year Law Student Scholarship 
    BARBRI Law Preview and the American Bar Association have partnered to offer one hard-working incoming law student a $10,000 scholarship towards their first year tuition, and a second scholarship to the runner up in the amount of $5,000.

    Terrorism and International Law
    Judge Sir David Baragwanath, former President of the United Nations backed Special Tribunal for Lebanon in the Hague, will lead a discussion moderated by USC law Professor Hannah Garry, Director of the USC Gould International Human Rights Clinic (IHRC). The program will be held Tuesday, January 31st at 12 pm in USC Gould Musick Law Building, Room 130. The event will be hosted by IHRC and co-sponsored by MESP, The International Law and Relations Organization, and the International Refugee Assistance Project.

    2017-18 USC Dornsife Continuing Student Scholarships
    The general application for the 2017-18 USC Dornsife Continuing Student Scholarships is available online now.  If you are a current USC Dornsife student with a minimum 3.0 cumulative USC GPA, will be a full-time USC Dornsife undergraduate in 2017-18, and have completed at least one semester at USC, you are eligible to apply.  Visit http://dornsife.usc.edu/css to access the application and learn more about the general scholarship application process.   
    In addition to the general USC Dornsife Continuing Student Scholarships, there are a number of other scholarships for USC Dornsife students which have separate applications, requirements, and deadlines.     We will hold two identical information sessions to discuss the USC Dornsife Continuing Student Scholarship application process. These sessions will be held on:

    Call for Submissions -- Penn Undergraduate Law Journal [www.pulj.org]

    The Penn Undergraduate Law Journal is soliciting submissions for its eighth issue. Please see below for details. 

    QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUBMISSION

    SUBMISSION DEADLINE: Friday, February 3rd, 2017 at 11:59 PM EST
    PULJ is looking for papers ranging from 15 to 100+ double-spaced pages in length. Our journal is especially receptive to research papers, senior theses, and independent studies or final papers written for classes. Papers need not be on American law -- they can be on the laws or legal system of any country. We consider submissions on a rolling basis, so if your piece is not finished by the deadline, please still submit it upon completion (to be considered for a later issue).

    Students in any field of study are encouraged to submit their work, so long as their piece relates to the law or the legal system. Possible disciplinary perspectives include, but are not limited to: History, Criminology, Economics, Sociology, Anthropology, English, Biology, Neuroscience, Philosophy, Linguistics, Psychology, and Political Science.

    Submissions for Undergraduate Law Review at The Ohio State University
    The OSU Undergraduate Law Review editing team is currently seeking submissions for our spring 2017 publication. 
    Our team is looking for quality papers written by undergraduate students on any topic pertaining to the law. Any previously written papers that have not been published elsewhere are welcome, as are papers of any length or citation style. Most submissions are between 2,500 and 6,000 words. All accepted papers will be edited to Bluebook style citations. Students should include a title page with their name, undergraduate institution, and year of graduation.
     Students should send their articles to ohiostateundergradlr@gmail.com. The deadline for submissions is February 5, 2017, and submissions will be considered on a rolling basis. Students will be notified via email when our team has decided whether or not to extend an offer of publication. More details about the editing process will be sent to students upon submission.

    Fast-growing New York-based Immigration law firm is seeking to hire a highly motivated Legal Intern for its downtown Los Angeles office, approximately 10 minutes from USC. Seeking a Legal Intern with an interest in learning an array of Immigration Law issues and specific aspects of Business Law. Interns will have the opportunity to learn about employment and family-based petitions, Consular Processing, and Litigation as well as certain issues involving entities, licensing, and trademark issues. We are seeking Legal Interns fluent in Spanish and/or another foreign language to work 15 - 20 hours per week. Excellent research, communication, and writing skills required. This is a rewarding non-paid internship for school credit.
