Hello Beautiful!!
This collage of pictures includes my fabulous Dr. Foust, my amazing nurse Kim, my awesome mom who has stayed with me through every treatment (even if she had to sit in the waiting room), and of course we went to Chick-fil-A afterwards!
They don’t have a fancy bell to ring at the office up here so I made them one (cowbell from Hobby Lobby) so I could ring it! My nurse took the video -- you can watch it here on Facebook!
It has been a crazy journey and I know I’m still facing the side effects for the next 3 weeks but I feel confident we have done all we can do and, as my Doctor said, “the rest is up to God”. I put my trust in the great Physician and I know I am safe in His hands whatever the future holds! I will be moving forward with medication for the next 5 years, frequent visits with my Oncologist, scheduling my next phase of reconstruction surgery, having my port removed, and will be anxiously awaiting to see how my hair comes back!
This was not a road I chose to travel but the road God chose for me and I am stronger because of it! His timing has been perfect in all things and I pray He will continue to use me for His glory in all I do!
There are not enough words to express my gratitude to each and every one of you for praying me through this journey I’m on! I am a very blessed woman!! My husband, son and mom have been my amazing support team here at home and I’m blessed with the best friends and family a girl could have!
I am honored to have you on my team as I continue through the next phases of this journey!
