It's Fall...
Your Closet is Calling!
Hello!
Happy Fall! It is starting to feel like fall here in East Tennessee and as I drove home from Beauty Boot Camp this week I got to see the beautiful fall-colored leaves on the trees as I came through the mountains.
So you know what that means….it is time to go through your closet!
This is a good time to get rid of the things you didn't wear all spring and summer. If you didn't wear them this year, you probably won't wear them next year. It is also a good time to re-evaluate the things you have for fall and winter. If they don't fit anymore or they just don't fit your taste anymore (remember if you wouldn't buy it in the store today, you don't need to keep it) then it is time to donate or take to your local consignment store.
Your closet is one of the fastest places to get cluttered but it should be one of the most valued spaces in your home because it contains all the clothes that make you look and feel fabulous!
Here are some steps to help you get started on getting your closet ready for the fall and winter!
Don’t forget to keep your closet smelling fresh and clean! Here are a few ideas on how to do this:
- Spray air freshener or disinfectant
- Baking soda to absorb any odors
- A bowl of potpourri
- Essential oils or perfume
- Scented sachets
- Dryer sheets – cut a slit in them and hang over the hangers
