Dear Writer:
This morning we sat down to write and suddenly found ourselves eating Coco Puffs in our underwear watching Carson Daly report on boy band fandemonium. We must have blacked out. Suffice it to say, we have trouble staying focused sometimes. That’s why we’re headed to Colorado’s capital for conscious living in hopes some of it might rub off on our writing.
All that granola, kombucha, and meditation—we think Boulder is on to something. Draw on those good vibes next Saturday and Sunday, August 2 and 3, at Boulder Story Builder. The weekend includes:
Sign up for just one or two things or buy an All-Access Pass to attend all events.
Can’t make it to Boulder? You can still laser beam in on your writing with these classes starting in late August:
This week’s Friday 500 is Part 2 of our discussion on regional writers. Join us tomorrow starting at 4:30 PM for an hour of open writing time. Then at 5:30 PM, keep writing or sit in on a panel with a local publishing house, The History Press, to hear what they have to say about publishing Colorado authors.
Back to School Party + Faculty Appreciation
Join us Saturday, August 16, from 6 to 9 PM for our annual Back to School Party! We’ll celebrate the start of a new school year and the Lighthouse faculty who make our workshops such a success.
New to Lighthouse? Come early for a new-student orientation from 5 to 6 PM. Meet staff and faculty, tour the house, and learn about our programs and volunteer opportunities.
Put down the Coco Puffs,
