Pre-Law Walk-In Hours Advisors will be holding walk-in advising hours at the following times: - Monday: Appointments only
- Tuesday: 9am-3:30pm
- Wednesday: 9:30am-12:30pm
- Thursday: 9am-1pm

The pre-law intern (a current USC Law student) will be holding walk-in hours for this semester at the following times: - Monday: 10:30pm-1:30pm

Pre-Law Advising Appointments
Appointments are available Monday to Friday, 9am-4pm. Please call the GFS Front Desk (213-740-2534) to schedule an appointment with an advisor or email prelaw@usc.edu to meet with a current USC Law student. All advising appointments and walk-ins will be seen in GFS 315.

USC Gould Continuing Legal Education - Paid Network Opportunity
The USC Gould School of Law’s Continuing Legal Education office would like to inform you of a paid networking opportunity for students. Each year, our office hosts legal seminars on various topics. For each seminar, we hope to enlist the help of USC students. The upcoming fall seminars are Institute on Entertainment Law and Business, 42st Annual Trust and Estate Conference and the 2016 Institute for Corporate Counsel. These seminars will be held on Saturday, October 22nd, Friday, November 18th, and Wednesday, December 7th, respectively. The spring seminars are our annual Tax Institute, Real Estate Institute, and IP Institute.
Those who participate will be supplied with breakfast and lunch on the day of the events, as well as $10 per hour for their efforts.

Law School 101
hosted by Asian Pacific American Bar Association (APABA)

APABA is a group of attorneys, judges, and law students who voice concerns on behalf of the Asian American community, provide legal education, volunteer assistance to underserved communities through free legal clinics, and provide mentorship for law students and other individuals interested in the legal profession.
The goal of Law School 101 is to introduce, expose, and explain what law school is all about to students who may not have traditional pipelines to law school. Students will hear from admissions counselors, law students, judges, and practicing attorneys. The entire day is free, including breakfast, lunch, and parking. Moreover, due to the generosity of our sponsors we will be raffling off 2 free LSAT courses (from Blueprint and PowerScore).

2017 UCLA Law Fellows Program
The Law Fellows Program provides early academic development to high-potential undergraduate students and college graduates, with at least a 3.3 cumulative GPA at a four-year undergraduate institution. The initial deadline is October 21, 2015. Applicants are encouraged to submit their applications as early as possible to ensure maximum consideration. The program activities will commence in January 2017, and admission decisions for the program will be made throughout December.

USC INFORMATION SESSIONS
Extended Information Sessions
In our extended information session, you will enjoy the same presentation as our Nuts and Bolts Information Session, including an overview of the highlights of a USC Gould education and tips regarding the application process. Additionally, the Deans or Directors of Student Affairs and Career Services will highlight ways their departments support incoming students. A panel of current law students will discuss life as law students and answer any of your questions related to student life. Finally, the program will conclude with a tour of the law school led by our Student Ambassadors.

Nuts and Bolts Information Sessions
These shorter sessions include a discussion of the highlights of a USC Gould education and the intricacies of the application process. A Q & A period will be available to help answer your questions. The program will conclude with a tour of the law school led by our Student Ambassadors.

Fast-growing New York-based Immigration law firm is seeking to hire a highly motivated Legal Intern for its downtown Los Angeles office, approximately 10 minutes from USC. Seeking a Legal Intern with an interest in learning an array of Immigration Law issues and specific aspects of Business Law. 2016 WORLD INDIGENOUS LAW CONFERENCE As a convening partner, Anahuacalmecac International University Preparatory is recruiting undergraduate and graduate students interested in a career in law as volunteers for the upcoming event co-convened by the Seventh Generation Fund for Indigenous Peoples at UC Irvine on October 19-22, 2016. The world law conference is held every two years and will be hosted this year in North America for the first time. This conference is an international forum aimed at gathering Indigenous lawyers, practitioners, academics and those interested in understanding issues facing Indigenous Peoples.
