Hello Friend! Welcome to Bailey's Local Foods in this interesting time.

For those of you have been ordering for a while, This is our first FRIDAY pickup of 2020... AND we're reinventing ourselves... Thank you for your support and patience, as always!

If you are new here, we are Maryrose and Rachael and we have been running this Online Farmer's Market together for a while.

This is the biggest change we have made in 10 years and we're up for the challenge!

We run a one day Farmer's Market and work our hardest to get fresh food to you weekly in the summer and approximately monthly in the Winter. We are currently running once every two weeks until the organic strawberries are ready!

We have an amazing team that works hard on our pickup day to be as organized as we can.

We're not perfect - we're trying our best - working with local food and small producers means that not everything comes as we hope.

Here are some highlights of new items from some of our many suppliers for the pickup on FRIDAY, May 1st

Ordering information:

Our order form for the FRIDAY, May 1st pickup will be closing Tuesday, April at 8:30 pm or when the order becomes too big.

Please be sure to have everything you need in your basket ASAP.

Once the order form is closed, we will send a confirmation email.
If we have to close ordering early, we will give you the option of cancelling your whole order.

Delivery is available for $10 in Kitchener and Waterloo. There are 30 spots available
There are pick up windows available each half-hour starting at 4:30 pm. More spots to be added later if needed.
By delaying our start time we hope to have all orders bagged and ready to go when you arrive to reduce the number of people waiting outside - we can only allow a very few people into the church at one time.

Picking up your order on Friday, May 1

Our strategies for running an Online Farmer's Market are evolving and ever-changing to serve you better.

Here are a few things you need to know for the May 1 pickup:

All orders will be prepacked. We will use paper bags and cardboard boxes to pack orders, but you may want to bring other bags to carry your items out.
Deliveries will be done on Friday. All drivers are insured commercially. Please ensure that your address and contact information is correct at
Pick up customers will receive a confirmation of their pick up window on Friday and, ideally, an email with your order total once the order is packed
We will ensure that each order is packed and ready for you in the pick up window that you selected. This will reduce the number of people waiting at the church and in the building
Items such as Ice Cream and Frozen Fish will not be prepacked. They will be highlighted on your pickup slip and the staff in the kitchen will get them for you as you exit
***NEW*** Entry to the church will be via the glass doors (with the ramp) off Willam Street and exit will be through the kitchen door
You will have the option of calling from the church parking lot and we will carry out orders of less than $100 or so and put them directly in your trunk.

Payment

Our payment preference is Interac e-Transfer.
Please add info@baileyslocalfoods.ca as a contact/payee so that you can easily send payment at the church. There should be no password needed.
Please *do not send payment* until you are given a total on our pickup day. We want to ensure you are only paying for the items that you receive.
The church has WiFi available if you need it.
If you require other payment options, they will be available (cash and cheque as well as 'tap' debit as methods of payment)

Support Girl Guides - Eat cookies!

We are offering Girl Guide Cookies to our customers.

Please understand that the $5 per box (or $60 per case) goes directly to Girl Guides and that we are not marking these up at all.

Organic Ground Beef on SALE!

We have an abundance of Organic Ground Beef From Vibrant Farms! Time for a SALE on 3 lbs of Ground Beef. Save $3.

We also have 'Bulk A' Beef Boxes available for those interested in a selection of Organic Grass Fed and Finished Beef.

Oak Manor Organic Flours and Grains

Oak Manor Organic Flours and Grains has enough supply, but the capacity to fill orders has them overwhelmed at this point.

You will find Flours and Cereals are available for the April 20th pickup

Things that are not available temporarily:
7-Grain Cereal and Porridge Oats as well as Spelt and Rye Flakes, Oat Bran, Oat Groats and Wheat and Rye Kernels. ONLY as a TEMPORARY measure to allow us to focus on the volume of products.
