Being a woman in the construction industry is especially challenging and there have been times when I struggled, but today my coworkers acknowledge me as the “go-to” worker on the job site because my skills are unmatched. I will show up ready to work, put in a full day’s work and get the job done right the first time.
Beyond the basics of using power tools and a tape measure, Rising Sun gave me the opportunity to choose a Union career I enjoy and that fits my lifestyle.
