BHS Young Life: What better way to start off the school year than with a good Muck War?!
Friends,
I'm not sure you could find a better picture of what Jesus has to offer than letting kids pelt each other with nasty things that stick and then helping them wash the muck off afterward.
This is what we want to offer to kids in our community--freedom from "the nasty things that stick" into life in Jesus, that is "life to the full." (John 10:10)
Please pray that Jesus would continue to draw kids to Himself and that we in Young Life would be willing to go all out to show them what Jesus has to offer.
Our annual Razorback Greenway Prayer Walk is this Sunday, Sept. 11, from 4:00-6:00pm. We are praying for kids to meet Jesus and for transformation in our communities. If you live in NWA, feel free to join us! Just email me back for details.
But when the kindness and goodness of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ, our Savior. (Titus 3:4-6)
