JEP's Pre-Law Program

The Pre-Law Project provides students curious about a career in law with real legal experience. It gives those interested in the field of law some actual hands on experience before making the substantial investment to attend law school.

Students can go to www.usc.edu/jep to sign-up and are also welcome to stop by the JEP House to do it in person. We are currently finalizing our placements, but two of the opportunities we will be having are:

- Bet Tzedek, a public interest firm serving 12,000 low-income Angelenos every year where students can work as intake assistants and legal assistants in the Self-Help Conservatorship Clinic.

- Esperanza Immigrant Rights Project where students assist lawyers that are educating and representing immigrants in removal proceedings in Immigration Court.

The Collegiate Academy
The Alliance Defending Freedom Collegiate Academy is a prestigious one-week program that envisions, equips, and deploys highly accomplished college upperclassmen and recent graduates on a path to future leadership in law, government, and public policy.

The Collegiate Academy is ideal for those interested in pursuing a career in law, government, and public policy. Throughout the week, Delegates hear from an array of practicing attorneys to get an inside view of the profession. One of the main benefits of the Academy is the practicum series that provides advice regarding the LSAT and law school application process. Delegates of the Academy have gone on to attend law school at USC, Harvard, Yale, Chicago, and many more.

Come learn more at the information session on Tuesday, September 30th at 5pm.  Collegiate Academy staff will be hosting an informational dinner at Bacaro.

RSVP by Sept. 23rd with your name, university, and grad year to CollegiateRSVP@alliancedefendingfreedom.org
