If You Want to Help Murphy Celebrate. . .
Several years ago Murphy donated funds to establish a scholarship with the IBMA Foundation in honor of Sally Ann Forrester, who played accordion and sang in Bill Monroe's band. The scholarship goes to one female bluegrass musician attending college each fall.
If you'd like to help Murphy celebrate the big 7-0, please make a donation to the IBMA Foundation to support the Sally Ann Forrester scholarship and help keep our young pickers educated.

IBMA Foundation Strings For Dreams Raffle Banjo
You still have time to grab one or more tickets for a fabulous Huber Banjo. They cost $20 each or 6-for-$100 at stringsfordreams.com. The proceeds support the work of the IBMA Foundation, which works to grow the future of bluegrass through youth scholarships, grants, and more.
This is a professional-quality banjo built by Steve Huber (one of the top banjo crafters).
