2021 Crown Award Entry Deadline is Sunday, October 31!

Don't miss your chance to be recognized for the work you put in this year to launch a new program, raise brand awareness, develop new tactics to reach your audience and innovate.

Take a moment and submit your team's campaign in the PRSA Lookout Chapter's Crown Awards, which recognizes local organizations for excellence in communications.

Our judging panel is made up of experienced professionals from throughout the southeast.

There is no cost to submit your application and you don’t have to be a member of our chapter to participate, but we hope you’ll consider making a small donation to support our efforts.

Sunday, October 31 is the last day to apply. We’ll recognize three award recipients at our December 1 program. Winners will receive a physical award for display and one year-long PRSA Lookout Chapter membership.

Kick off your workday with some cozy coffee and PRSA! Join us at Market South (1501 Long Street) on Wednesday, November 3 from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. to caffeinate and mingle! The coffee bar is spacious and opens onto an outdoor patio, if you'd prefer to be outside.

There is a parking lot located behind Market South, but street parking is also available on Main Street.

While we are eager to socialize, we take your health and safety seriously. We encourage you to follow CDC guidelines, but wish to emphasize that this event is entirely optional and ask you to attend only if you feel healthy, safe and comfortable to do so.

Where are the Best Places to Work?

Edge magazine and the Chattanooga Times Free Press recently launched the third annual Best Places to Work program.

The program relies on a reputable, unbiased, third-party vendor to handle all logistics, rules and judging to ensure each company is vetted for a range of workplace benefits by conducting employer questionnaires and employee engagement and satisfaction surveys.

Each participating company also has the opportunity to receive a detailed report about the results from their employee surveys and other marketplace metrics.

Companies can apply and learn more about the Best Places to Work program by visiting edgebestplacestowork.com. The application phase is open through October 29. The area’s top employers will be revealed in Edge magazine and recognized at an awards event in May.

From well-appointed homes to dream vacation destinations and mouth-watering recipes, we've all been transfixed by beautiful content that inspires us to dream more and create more in our day to day lives.

Join PRSA Lookout on December 1 to hear from Virginia Moon, the woman behind inspiring editorial in the home, food and travel industries. She is the editorial curator of the HGTV Dream Home Giveaway, and oversees several other digital projects for Discovery brands. In our final festive program of 2021, we'll hear how even fabulous lifestyle content needs a well-designed digital strategy.

At this event, which is scheduled from noon to 1:00 p.m. via Zoom, we'll also recognize our 2021 Crown Award recipients. This program is free for members and Crown Award nominees; $10 for others. Look for an Eventbrite link to register soon.
