OLEG LOBYKIN :: Void and Flex
Preview our exclusive on-line exhibition of sculptures by Oleg Lobykin in high polish bronze, carved marble or GFRC (glass fiber reinforced concrete), featuring sculptures created over a period of 4 years from his series Void and Flex.
Born in St. Petersburg, Russia, Oleg Lobykin now resides in Silicon Valley. His work is rooted in the old world craft of stone carving, yet he considers himself an international sculptor and the product of globalization and modern technologies. Lobykin is also known for his public artworks and his restoration of landmark architecture and sculpture. He has completed a number of projects in New York, Los Angeles, the San Francisco Bay Area, Colorado, and Japan.
