One of the most exciting finds in this sale is also the most understated - a rare pair of Ladies Dress Reform Trousers, c. 1870. These might easily be overlooked by all but the most discerning collector when displayed alongside such mid and late Victorian era gems like the Cream Silk Satin Wedding Gown, c. 1855 shown here, but they are so very rare they deserve a 2nd look.
