Lighthouse Writers Workshop
Dear Writer:

We’ve all heard the stories about people being trampled at Wal-Mart or waiting for days outside a store to get their hands on the next big thing, whatever that might be. Here at Lighthouse, we prefer a more civilized method of queuing up called the World Wide Web.

The Writer’s Studio with Kazuo Ishiguro
Get ready because tickets go on sale for the Writer’s Studio with Kazuo Ishiguro this Monday, February 2, at 9:00 AM.

Don’t worry—you won’t have to push or shove your way to the front of the line. You won’t even have to leave the house (because let’s face it—who really wants to do that ever?). Just visit our Workshops page to register.

Art + Lit
The next Art + Lit lecture is today, January 29, at the Art Students League from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Chris Ransick will discuss Wallace Stevens’ poem “The Man with the Blue Guitar” and art historian Neely Patton will give a talk on Pablo Picasso’s painting “The Old Guitar.”
