Popsicles, s'mores, donuts and more!
Friends,
I wanted to share with you some of what has been happening this last month through Young Life. Thank you for helping to make this possible! Thank you for joining with me, our staff and our volunteers "in the single-minded purpose that there's no price to high to pay to see to it that young people have a chance to know the Savior." (Jim Rayburn, founder of Young Life)

Popsicles, S'mores, Donuts & More...

God has opened doors (literally and figuratively) for us to meet many new students!

Faytteville High School

FHS kicked off the semester with kickball and popsicles!
Before fall weather hit, the leaders took students to Andy's for some end- of- summer ice cream.
Leaders helped girls get ready for homecoming while getting to know their mothers, as well.

The bonfire event was a huge hit, with kids and leaders enjoying
smores and building friendships!

UARK

College weekend was refreshing for students and leaders. Leaders got to engage with students more deeply as they shared their desire to be known, to have a community, and to explore relationship with Jesus.

Har-ber High School

Young Life is back on campus, serving up donuts in the courtyard, hosting club during advisory period, and more!

Leaders have served popsicles to band students after practices and are connecting with other groups of students on campus.

Over the last month or so of doing contact work, they have TRIPLED the amount of kids they know at the school!

Bentonville High School

Leaders in Bentonville have spent this semester with students by having ice cream parties, playing basketball, and hosting a bonfire! Campaigners groups are meeting weekly, diving deeper into faith conversations.

"And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains." -Colossians 4:3

Heritage
High School

Heritage leaders have served donuts during lunch, had ice cream hang outs, and campaigner groups. Last week, they had a pumpkin carving party!

Wyldlife

Wyldlife leaders have loved going to football games and putting together events like the paint party and hangouts at the park playing games and getting to know one another better.

Capernaum

NWA Capernaum is back to meeting in person again on a weekly basis for club, campaigners and big group hangouts. This semester, they are going through Psalm 23 and learning more each week about the Lord being out Shepherd.

PLEASE PRAY

  • Pray that our leaders stay motivated and encourged through the stress of school this semester.
  • Pray for favor in all schools - that we would be able to connect with parents, teachers and faculty to build new relationships.
  • Pray for our fall fundraising events, that our budget would be met for this coming fiscal year.
HOW CAN I PRAY FOR YOU? Reply back to this email if you would like prayer. I would love to pray specifically for you!
I'm grateful for your prayers, support, and friendship!
God's Best,
