Hello East Nasty Runner!
Here we are.  The last 2 training runs happen this week and then Saturday is race day! Before we get to the schedule.  Let's talk about what happens after the P2T training program ends.
#1 You are officially part of East Nasty Running Club after Wednesday.  Your fabulous coaches come from this outstanding group.  East Nasty meets every Wednesday at 6:10 to run one of 12 routes each week.  You can find out more about East Nasty at www.eastnastyforlife.com.  
#2 If you are feeling a bit intimidated by such a large group and wondering if you are fast enough- East Nasty has a group of runners who go by Lasty Nasty.  This group communicates through Facebook on the Lasty Nasty group page.  You need to request to join the group, since I am the administrator- you are guaranteed in!
#3 There will be a 5K to 10K training group starting led by one of our P2T coaches starting Sunday, September 13th.  The group will train for ten weeks and get you ready to take on a 10K this November. The group will meet for the very first time together on Sunday, Sept, 13th and meet every Sunday morning at 7 a.m, We’ll celebrate YOUR accomplishment together by running at 10K on Saturday, November 21st (just in time for the holidays).  We encourage you to join us for this training if you feel you can complete a 5K in 45 minutes or less. This group will be led by DeeDee Melton and Megan McGuire – “graduates” of the Potato to Tomato training in 2014! THIS WEEK:  Monday will be our last training run that occurs in SHELBY Park. • 5 minute brisk walk • 3x (10 minute jog/1 minute walk) • 5 minute walk 
Wednesday we will do our training run at the East Nasty meeting place - 11th and Holly.  Parking is VERY scarce, I strongly suggest you plan to get there before 6.  This is a special night!  You will be welcomed into the East Nasty Running Club by at least 200 of your newest friends. • 5 minute brisk walk • 30 minute jog (no walking) • 5 minute walk
SATURDAY we will meet at 7:00 am sharp to do a little warm up run ahead of the race.  Again, parking will be challenging due to the Tomato Fest, so plan well and give yourself some wiggle room.  We will announce and send out an additonal email to confirm our pre-race meeting location.  FYI- Race bib pick up is Friday at the Margaret Maddox YMCA in East Nashville.  PLAN TO DO THIS FRIDAY, or have a friend pick up your race packet for you on Friday.
Shirts: We are hoping to pick them up on Monday and pass them out on Wednesday.  Any of you who aren't able to pick them up Wednesday, we will drop them off after the run Wednesday at Nashville Running Company for you to pickup before they close on Friday at 6pm.
Congratulations Runners and stay away from those couches.  You have accomplished so much in 8 weeks, we are really proud of you and so happy you joined in what has been an outstanding 2015 P2T program!
