Hello East Nasty Runner!
Onward to week 2 of our training! This week all our training runs will be at Shelby Park, and here's what we will be doing-
Monday• 5 minute brisk walk • 6x (90 sec jog / 2 minute walk) • 5 minute walk
Wednesay• 5 minute brisk walk • 7x (90 sec jog / 2 minute walk) • 5 minute walk
Saturday• 5 minute brisk walk • 8x (90 sec jog / 2 minute walk) • 5 minute walk 
Showing up for the training runs is one of the keys to the program's success, but life happens and we recognize that you might not be able to make them all- this is why we include what the runs will be so that if you can't make it, you can do this on your own.  
Since we are just starting week 2, it's still not too late for others to join the program!  If you know someone who is wishing they would started, let them know.
Another key to success?  It's signing up for the race.  Making a finacial investment in the race is another incentive to keep you committed to the training program as well.

One thing I forgot to mention last week - The East Nashville Farmer's Market occurs Wednesdays in Shelby Park.  Give yourself a couple extra minutes to safely get into the park and observe the speed limit please.
Reminder: This upcoming Saturday we will be bringing the shoes back again for those of you who are still needing a better shoe for running.
