It's our pleasure to announce the preliminary catalog for our Summer Solstice Treasures Auction to be held on Wednesday June 28th, starting at 11AM. As always, we will be offering remote or in-person previews by appointment through the 24th. Please contact us today to arrange a private viewing or with any questions.
We're working tirelessly to finish the catalog, but for now you can preview and follow along as we add new pieces daily. This auction will include clothing, textiles and accessories from numerous museums including an extensive collection of early Emilio Pucci and James Galanos from The Museum at FIT, an eclectic mix of historical fashion, textiles and designer garments from The Ohio State University Historic Costumes and Textiles Collection, including the Couture Irene Lentz Evening Gown, featured here. Additionally, the sale will include a selection of garments from the personal collection of Doris Duke, recently deaccessioned by The Newport Restoration Foundation. These will be added to the catalog in the next few weeks so stay tuned!
