The Office of Immersion Resources is committed to supporting students through all phases of Immersion planning. Our office hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. We currently offer in-person, Zoom and phone advising on the Immersion portal. Students can also send an email to immersion@vanderbilt.edu with questions. 
Join the Office of Immersion Resources on Tuesday, October 26 from 3:30-4:30pm  for a virtual information session on the 2022 Vanderbilt Undergraduate Summer Research Program! Learn about VUSRP, important dates, application guidelines, and more. 

VUSRP provides a unique opportunity to develop valuable skills by working closely with a faculty member on joint research efforts. Funding is provided to rising sophomores, juniors and seniors engaged in 10 weeks of full-time research with a full-time Vanderbilt faculty member. Applications will be accepted from October 26 –January 11 at Noon.
Students can use their VUSRP experience to satisfy Immersion Vanderbilt.

Join the Office of Immersion Resources and The Writing Studio on Thursday, October 28th from 4:15-5:15pm for the VUSRP Application Writing Workshop! Participants will have the opportunity to hear from past VUSRP award recipients, review successful applications from previous years, and begin brainstorming their projects! The workshop is the first in a series of two workshops to assist students with the application process. This event will be held in the Community Room in the Central Library.

Submissions are now being accepted for the Fall 2021 Vanderbilt Undergraduate Creative Expression Showcase on Wednesday, November 17 in the Student Life Center Board of Trust Room. The showcase will feature student-created projects that are representative of a variety of fields and disciplines. It is open to all undergraduate students across the university who wish to showcase creative works they have completed during their time at Vanderbilt under the guidance of a faculty member. Students may register to present their creative works via performance, presentation at an easel or table, or via a digital presentation at a table.

                     Submission applications for the Fall 2021 VUCES will remain open through                            Thursday, November 4.

The application for The Nichols Humanitarian Fund is now open for Summer 2022! 
The Nichols Humanitarian Fund assists students in the creation of a service learning project.
Recipients can conduct projects domestically or in a location the univeristy will sponsor.

Participants will have the opportunity to hear from both Conexión Américas and Shade Tree Clinic about all the great work they do locally as well as current opportunities for students to get involved. The webinar will also feature students who will share how they have used their service experiences with Conexión and Shade Tree towards their Immersion.

Think on a global scale in this field-based study abroad Immersion Opportunity! In partnership with Vanderbilt's Global Education Office, SIT (the School for International Training) offers field-based study abroad programs combining classroom study with hands-on experience. Students learn directly from local experts and community members, witness local initiatives first-hand, and immerse themselves culturally.
