UPDATE ON PLANS FOR THE 2021-22 SCHOOL YEAR
In-person learning option

IN-PERSON LEARNING

  • We anticipate that the 2021-22 school year will feel very similar to how school was conducted prior to the pandemic.
  • Students enrolled in this option will have full-day, in-person schedules (there will not be AM/PM schedules).
  • COVID-19 mitigation measures will remain in place (such as mask-wearing and increased ventilation).
NOTE: BISD students will automatically be enrolled in the in-person learning model. If you wish to enroll your student in 100% Online Learning, please see below.
2021-22 School Year

100% ONLINE LEARNING

For the 2021-22 school year, we will continue to support 100% Online students K-12 in a limited capacity based on pre-registration requests and staffing support. Questions about the K-12 100% Online Learning Model? Please contact Commodore Options School Principal Trish Corsetti at tcorsetti@bisd303.org
K-8 100% Online Learning
  • Students will be enrolled through Mosaic K-8 (housed at Commodore Options School).
  • Mosaic will provide individualized programs for families. The program will be a combination of online course options through Edgenuity (for math and English/Language Arts) and academic support through homeschool with a teacher.
  • Students will have enrichment options virtually. The weekly schedule is TBD based on grade level and staff support.
  • It will not be a traditionally scheduled school day.
  • We ask for a semester-long commitment from students and families. Movement out of 100% Online Learning and into in-person learning can be made at the semester break.
  • K-8 families interested in enrolling in the K-8 100% Online Learning Model should contact their school's office manager by May 14, 2021.

9-12 100% Online Learning
  • Students will be enrolled at Eagle Harbor High School and supported with Edgenuity online courses. EHHS staff will help students navigate Edgenuity.
  • We ask for a semester-long commitment from students and families. Any program changes will be addressed at semester.
  • There is not an option of taking some in-person classes and some online courses. Students must be enrolled in one program or the other.
  • NOTE: If your student is a senior and is enrolled in this option, their diploma will be from Eagle Harbor High School.
  • Families interested in enrolling students in 100% online must contact their assigned counselor by May 7th.

The ABC Process is an important step for the 2021-22 School Year.
