A MESSAGE FROM THE SUPERINTENDENT
Peter Bang Knudsen
ONE LAST THING TO DO

School schedules — check! Teacher assignments — check! There’s just one more very important piece to complete before school begins. PLEASE LOGIN TO SKYWARD and review the Student Privacy Parent Consent Form.

To improve student engagement during Continuous and Hybrid learning this fall, teachers will be using Zoom and other online tools more frequently. Teachers will also have the option to record the online class session to preserve the lesson and/or to help students who may miss a class due to illness or other family matters.

In order to provide students these beneficial experiences and to comply with state and federal regulation, we require parental or guardian to consent. This new form has been added to your Skyward account. We ask families to log in to Skyward to review and sign the form as soon as possible.
NOTE: You will need to provide consent for EACH student listed in your Skyward account. Once logged into Skyward Family Access, in the left menu, choose “Online Forms” tab.

If you need assistance, please send an email to:  studentrecords@bisd303.org

KEEPING WITH TRADITION
Gigi

While the school year may not be beginning in a traditional way, that doesn't mean our traditions have to stop!

In fact, it's more important than ever to maintain traditions when we are able to do so safely.

Calling all students here's a chance to connect with others by printing and completing this year's 2020-21 School Year sign and snapping a photo. Please send your photo to ebischoff@bisd303.org and we will compile a first-day-of-school slideshow.
TIPS:
  • Please write as large as possible
  • Unable to print off the sign? That's OK! Simply write what makes you happy on a piece of paper.
  • Please take the photo vertically (phone up and down, not side to side)

Special thanks to Dana Goodwin (7th grade student) and Gigi Glass (kindergarten) for sharing what makes them happy!
