Dear Horned Frogs,
The Texas Christian University community is making an incredible impact as our Horned Frogs take their top ranked academic experience into the world as the leaders of tomorrow. The next generation of Horned Frogs – our scientists, educators, nurses, business leaders, creators, athletes, entrepreneurs and physicians of the future - are a powerful force for the greater good.
TCU’s unrivaled academic and student experience is thriving, and our dedication to TCU’s mission and vision ensures that we are investing in the value of a TCU degree for all graduates. As we look ahead and plan for a strong future, maintaining the TCU experience remains paramount.
Last week, during the fall TCU Board of Trustees meeting, the Board announced there will be a 6% percent tuition rate increase for the 2023-2024 academic year. This decision follows much analysis and consideration of economic factors and rising costs. Need-based financial aid also will increase by 6% percent, to match student and family need. Tuition will now be $57,130 for full-time undergraduates, an increase of $3,240. Hourly undergraduate and graduate rates will increase by the same percentage.
The Board reaffirmed its commitment to making TCU more accessible by continuing to increase scholarships and financial aid for qualifying students in addition to merit-based aid for exceptional academic performance. An important role of TCU’s endowment is to expand scholarships and funds that support a wide range of talented students across many disciplines. If you have any questions about qualifying for financial aid or additional scholarships, please visit https://financialaid.tcu.edu.
Maintaining the excellence of a TCU education is a top priority as we continue to invest in our students, our campus, student services and activities – and the next 150 years. Thank you for being a Horned Frog and for entrusting your education to Texas Christian University.
Sincerely,
Victor J. Boschini, Jr. Chancellor
