Dear Oakland Unified Community,
I am writing to share the results of our TK-5 Mandatory Student Preference form (TK-MSP) regarding in-person learning this spring.
92% of TK-5 families responded to the questionnaire and approximately 54% of families want the option of in-person learning this spring.
While the majority of families want to return to in-person learning, we are sharing the results to reveal the complexity of our context as you look at the results school by school. Read on to learn more about our outreach to TK-5 families and for a breakdown of the questionnaire results.
Thank you to our families and staff for collaborating to respond to the questionnaire. This will help us make plans for this spring. We will share specific updates next week about programming and other plans.
