Vaccination records due Aug. 6

New and returning students are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 for the 2021–22 academic school year. Join our new Facebook group for parents and families

On July 20, the university launched the new Vanderbilt Parents & Families Group (Official) for all current Vanderbilt families. The new group replaces the individual class Facebook groups. The group will be supported by Vanderbilt’s Parents and Family Programs team, university staff and experienced VU parents who can answer questions or offer direction on where to find any information you need. The new group will also allow parents and families to connect with and learn from others throughout their Vanderbilt journey. We are One Vanderbilt, and together we can build a stronger community.

You met the Parent Challenge!

Anonymous parent donors issued a challenge to the rest of the parents and family community at the end of the fiscal year on June 30—and you blew past the goal! More than 2,600 parents generously responded, exceeding our goal of 2,400.

Our anonymous parent donors originally gave $25,000 to support Opportunity Vanderbilt, the university’s renowned financial aid program, on Giving Day in April. After this fiscal year-end show of support, they gave an additional $25,000.

We are especially grateful for your support of Vanderbilt in this challenging year. Thank you!
