Enhancing Employee Engagement
in an Ever-Changing Workforce
In today's uncertain times, maintaining employee engagement is more important than ever. The year has brought a steady stream of changing work dynamics, which, for many, has led to feelings of heightened stress and anxiety both in the workplace and at home. One way that companies are choosing to increase confidence and engagement in their team is by creating opportunities for continuous learning.
Recent Success Stories
Two CI members are leading the way as shining examples. DynaGrid Construction Group, based out of Lewisville, TX, has enrolled more than 50 employees in a personalized Leadership training. Spread out over six months, groups engage in virtual, instructor-led workshops to broaden their skills in problem-solving, change management, negotiation and conflict resolution, communication, and sexual harassment prevention. Not only can such team-centered learning contribute to a stronger workforce, but it enables participants to develop strong bonds while acquiring highly valuable skills in a shared learning environment.

Another CI member, Interstate Electrical Services, has taken full advantage of CI's online Project Management Certificate Program. Twenty-three participants have benefitted from the on-demand training, enabling each to choose their own timeframe for sharpening skills in project management delivery systems, scheduling and budgeting, communications, and legal ramifications. Both on-demand and instructor-led programs enable workers to feel confident and inspired through increased capabilities for an ever-changing workforce.
