INCLUSIVITY
For years, we built a culture of neutrality with the hope of everyone feeling welcome. We have learned staying silent can leave people still questioning if our community is a safe place for them or not. While there are benefits and wisdom to not putting a stake in the ground for every issue as a business, we want to be clear about who we are and what we’re about.

There are many comfortable communities available for white, heterosexual, married women raising their biological kids in Fort Worth. Any deviance from those combined categories can cause barriers for moms to find a place of belonging in our city. So when we are making decisions about how to extend love to the moms of Fort Worth, we are thinking about the latter. We are willing to cause discomfort for those living in the majority in order to provide even the tiniest bit more comfort and inclusion for those who have historically been on the margins of society.

We understand this shift may cause questions or negative feelings from our past, current, or potential FIT4MOM Fort Worth members. Open communication is important to us. Please reach out if you’d like to discuss it. As always, our hope is for women to feel seen, known, and loved.

In motherhood,
Becca & Sarah
