- Great job to Natoya Rozier at Carver Elementary. She is so warm and welcoming to the parents and staff. She has a drive and is willing to learn whatever we send her way.
- AP Anderson is the best! She is so knowledgeable, especially when it comes to reading instruction. All of the decisions that Ms. Anderson makes are rooted in what's best for all of our Holton Lions. She is responsive and has her finger on the pulse of what teachers, students, and staff need to ensure everyone at Holton is successful.
- Shout-out to Ms. Betts, the newest member of Linwood Holton's reading intervention/tutoring team. Her positivity is a breath of fresh air! The love she has for our students is at the forefront of all that she does. We are blessed to have her on the Holton Team!
- I want to shout-out Dr. Leslie Wiggans and Indira Lipscomb-Quarles. Over the past weeks, I have felt included and empowered to move forward with understanding the goals and vision of supporting our elementary schools. It means a lot to me to know that we are all doing this work together and are genuinely passionate about how we serve our RPS students, families, and colleagues. Thank you to you both for all that you do!
- Shout-out to Dr. Rossi Volley. Thank you for always being collaborative, positive, and responsive. You're always prepared with a plan that keeps students first. I appreciate your leadership and all you do to support the exceptional education department. You are a huge asset to RPS!
- Cardinal Elementary would like to shout-out Ms. Anna Dwyer! Ms. Dwyer is Cardinal’s January 2023 teacher of the month, and the title is so well-deserved. Not only is she a creative and innovative teacher, she knows the true meaning of “heart” work and never hesitates to help her students with academics and beyond. Ms. Dwyer is passionate about her role and always goes the extra mile! It is inspiring to work with you, Ms. Dwyer!
- Just wanted to offer a shout-out to Greg Muzik and Mr. Lombardi (and other Munford folks) for bringing the Dancing Classrooms to Mary Munford! Such a wonderful experience for my son!
- I would like to shout-out our new addition to the Amelia Street School staff, Mrs. Sherina K. Gilpin. Although she comes to us to step into the shoes of the one who will never be forgotten, Dr. Taleisha Chandler, she stands on her own as a true inspiration and guide not only to the A-Team side of Amelia Street School but as well as the Dream Team. We Are One and Mrs. Gilpin has filled a void in our family and has embraced us with her expertise and love for students. I just want to extend a well deserved, albeit tardy, welcome on behalf of us all and a heartfelt thank you.
- I want to give a shout-out to the RPS transportation staff, including Mr. Richardson, for being so helpful in finding my daughter's bag that she left on the bus. Each person I talked to was so helpful and pleasant and helped us get the bag back quickly. Keep up the great work!
- A big shout-out to Virginia Lopes-Wyche, Cherry Smith, J'Carla Pettiford-Hines, Mitez Alexander, Caroyln Woodson, and Diane Lee for assisting RCMS with VGA Testing!!!!
- Shout-out to our amazing assistant principals at Lucille Brown M.S., Cornelius Smith and Stephanie Douglas-Jackson, for holding it down last week during testing and beyond. Your hard work does not go unnoticed. Thank you for exemplifying what leading with love looks like!
- I'd like to send shout-outs to Ms. Bonnie (maintenance) at Summer Hill PK for getting someone out to adjust the speech therapy room door, and Tommy (facilities) for coming out promptly and making the adjustments. Thank you!
- I would love to spotlight the crossing guard team at Overby-Sheppard. They are diligent and focused on the safety of students at Overby-Sheppard. At times, they are the first smiling face that greets a student. We are super excited to have them at Overby-Sheppard. Thank you, Mr. Dupont, Ms. Gordon, Ms. Santana, and Ms. Martin. You are an example of who we are at Overby-Sheppard. The administration sees you and wants you to know that you are valued.
- I would like to give a shout-out to the nutrition staff at Overby-Sheppard. You are a breath of fresh air in the cafeteria and we want you to know that administration sees you and appreciates your hard work in making sure our students are well fed.
- I just wanted to shout-out the entire 7th grade team over at T.C. Boushall. Ms. Parson, Mr. Pierce, Ms. Gerstisian, Dr.Allen, Ms. Braxton, Ms. Royster, Ms. Harris, Mr. Gurley, Ms. Thorne, and Ms. Kelley. Also, a major shout-out to our fearless leader, Ms. Waller!!!!!!!!!!!!!! #Eagle Excellence!!!!!!!!!!!
- Thank you to the interventionists at Patrick Henry, Ms. Martin and Ms. Bell! Your work has not gone unnoticed. Your dedication to the students and their improvement continues to show!
