Drop-in ISSS advising is available at the International Student Center (MacMillan Hall, room 017) Monday through Thursday from 1:30 to 3:00pm throughout spring semester. Scheduled appointments and drop-ins are available in-person or online. However, the ISSS advising team loves to meet face-to-face with students! If possible, schedule your appointment in person or keep your camera on during virtual meetings in order to facilitate better communication.
You are also welcome to study or take a study break in the International Student Center (MacMillan Hall 017) Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm. Limited snacks, beverages and printing are available.
Every Tuesday from 4:00-5:00 pm in the International Student Center (room 018) is Campus Care. Campus Care is an option for students who want to consult with a trained mental health professional in a less formal and more convenient setting than a counseling appointment. No appointment is necessary and there is no fee. Students are seen on a first-come, first-served basis and typically, there is little or no wait time.
Students whose first language is not English are also encouraged to schedule an English Language Learner Writing Center consultation in MacMillan 017 for help with improving any writing project.
