It has been reported that there are two persons calling AME members pretending to be Bishop Jullius McAllister Sr., Presiding Prelate of the 1st Episcopal District, AME Church and his neice. They say that they are relocating to the Kansas City area and need some help. The scammers will request information about the location of your church, Sunday Services, gifts of ministry, etc. PLEASE BEWARE...IT IS A SCAM!!! Please HANG UP and DO NOT respond!

If you or any one else you know, receives a call, email, or text message from an AME Church Bishop or Official requesting any kind of immediate help, assistance, or favor please disregard and delete the message!

Members, PLEASE share this message to prevent others from falling victim to these scammers because they are constantly coming up with new and creative ways to con people!
