Dear Duke students,

We hope you enjoyed cheering on the Men's Basketball program in Saturday's Elite Eight game. We are actively planning a Cameron Indoor Stadium watch party for Saturday night with the hopes that as many Duke students as possible will be there to be a part of history as Coach K and the team return to the Final Four and face UNC! More details to come in the following days.

Under NCAA regulations, we also have 700 student tickets available for watching in person in New Orleans. Details about entering the lottery are below.

Let’s Go Duke!

Duke Athletics & Student Affairs

  • You must come in person with your valid Duke ID to enter the lottery.
  • Please note this is a TRUE LOTTERYin other words, showing up first or early does not give you any advantage in getting a ticket.
  • Each lottery winner will be permitted to purchase a maximum of one (1) $20 ticket valid for the semifinal game in which Duke plays. Payment method must be provided upon entry into the lottery and you will be automatically charged if you win the lottery.
  • Sales will be monitored hourly during normal business hours (8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.).
  • Lottery winners will be notified the night of Tuesday, March 29, via email.
  • Student tickets are non-transferable.
  • Any student purchasing more than one (1) ticket with a credit card will have any orders after the first order cancelled. A student may not pay for another student’s ticket with the credit card they used to purchase their own ticket.
  • Lottery winners who have submitted payment will receive further information on accessing their ticket by Thursday, March 31. Your ticket will be a mobile ticket.
  • Should Duke advance to the National Championship game, they would automatically have a ticket and receive further information on accessing their ticket on Sunday, April 3

Please note: Only if you are willing and able to provide your own personal transportation and accommodations for New Orleans should you enter this lottery. Student Affairs is working to secure a limited number of spots via a bus trip, to include transportation and hotel rooms at an additional charge for students who receive tickets in the lottery. Spots are limited and will not be able to accommodate all students. More information to be provided following the ticket lottery. If you need financial support for lodging and travel, please purchase a ticket through the lottery process. Student Affairs will send more information about financial support to ticket recipients.

Please also note that being selected in the lottery does not excuse you from academic responsibility. Please proactively communicate with your professors to make any necessary accommodations.

If you have any questions or concerns, please email the Duke Athletic Ticket Office at duaatix@duke.edu
