January was a busy month as we discussed trucks and big machines that work for us every day and provide services for us all. We enjoyed Jump Bunch, Milestones in Music, and Theatre Tots this month. The children loved Tom McDonell’s performance “Pajama Day” as they celebrated by wearing their PJs!
February’s High Reach theme is “Town & Country” and we will have fun exploring differences and similarities between city life and country life as we relate them to our own experiences. We will also talk about dental health and nutrition. Dental health professionals will visit and talk to the children about proper care of their teeth and how eating nutritious foods plays an important role in their overall health.
Valentine’s Day will be a fun time as children look forward to exchanging Valentines and classroom parties!
Please remember to send your child to school with appropriate clothing and shoes. If possible, keep a spare pair of shoes here so your child can change if the first pair gets wet or muddy. Also, this is flu season, and we need to b mindful of washing hands after entering any classroom. Keeping your child home with any symptoms of fever, cough, and/or constant runny nose is also necessary so we are not spreading the germs to others. We are doing our best here to disinfect toys and equipment and washing hands throughout the day.
Thank you for your kind cooperation.
