Wilson Communications Announces 2022 Scholarship Recipients!
 
Since the program's inception in 1984, Wilson Communications has selected over 360 scholarship recipients and has awarded nearly $200,000.00. This year Wilson Communications established two new opportunities; the Paul F. Grauer Technology Scholarship and the Helen Grauer Return to Learning Scholarship.

"Knowing how important education was to my grandparents, we continue to offer these opportunities as a way to honor their legacy and to give back to the communities we serve," says Scott Grauer, President/CEO of Wilson Communications. "This is just one of the many ways we help support our communities," he added.

Each year, Wilson Communications awards scholarships to students in each of its seven communities it serves as well as one scholarship to an Ellsworth High School graduate. The 2022 Wilson Communications $500.00 General Scholarship recipients are:

🎓 Brookville, KSKylie Betzner and Dalen Edgerton, Ell-Saline High School
🎓 Denmark, KSWilliam Dohe and Tressa Wehrman, Sylvan-Lucas High School
🎓 Hunter, KSBrooke Wehrman and Dillyn Brummer, Sylvan-Lucas High School and Raegan Stewart, Lincoln High School
🎓 Lucas, KSJaxson Heenan, Sylvan-Lucas High School
🎓 Sylvan Grove, KSMekelle Hurlbut, Sylvan-Lucas High School and Rylan Reeves, Russell High School
🎓 Tipton, KSPaige Hollerich and Leah Brummer, Tipton Catholic High School
🎓 Wilson, KSZachary Corpus, Wilson High School

The Paul F. Grauer Technology Scholarship awards one, $1000 nonrenewable scholarship to a graduating senior or a college undergraduate that is dedicated in pursuing a degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information Technology or a Telephone or Broadband trade related field. We are honored to announce that the 2022 recipient is Dalen Edgerton, Ell-Saline High School, Brookville, KS.

"We strongly believe that our youth are the future for our rural communities and encourage them to pursue their goals and further their education, congratulations to all the area graduates," said Craig Freeman, Vice President/General Manager of Wilson Communications.
