Hi friends - I can't think of a more loving gift than to sit in communal, ecstatic chant, in the company of open-hearted, fellow travellers.
Thanks to the internet we can now connect with each other in the Gayatri Sangha app where we share the deeper parts of ourselves with the community.
Love, life and laughter.
In the Gayatri Sangha app, we have the chance to slow our lives down for a while - and to gather, breathe and chant together, in spiritual harmony with each other.
So, thank you, thank you for blessing Deva and me with your love and your participation in the Sangha.
One of the many joys is the information and inspiration that we get to pass on to each other.
A great example of this is the unexpected appearance of Lama Tsultrim in our sangha.
It felt as if she had descended from beyond the clouds of the mighty Himalayas...with teachings to impart.
I know many of you witnessed her teaching during the 21-day Tonglen meditation practice that is happening right now within the app.
For me personally, her transmission of Tonglen was a breakthrough into a deeper part of myself. My journey was enlightened, thanks to Lama Tsultrim and the Buddhist teachings.
Due to Lama's guidance, I touched a state of grief that I thought I'd long transcended, and with her loving teachings in my heart, I emerged from that dark place of grief into the light of Pure Love.
And of course, as we continue to practice this powerful meditation technique so the light of the community grows. A benefit to all.
A few days ago master percussionist, rhythm guru and teacher, Reinhard Flatischler gave us a lesson in breath and movement, through the magical realm of rhythm.
As Reinhard guided us through his TA KE TI NA process, he brought such joy and a wealth of inspiration - and information - to the field.
These online events happening within the app are proving to be very popular!
We have been blessed by such luminaries as Guru Singh, Tommy Rosen and Jocelyn B Smith for example, and the sessions are available to be enjoyed any time. If you haven't visited the Teacher Feature room, check it out. There's much to learn.
On the music front, Deva, Joby and I have almost finished the Gayatri Mantra Japa 108 Prabhu Dance mix.
That's right - 22 minutes of 108 cycle Gayatri chanting with music and a groove to move your body.
Also, we are working on a new video - coming soon. Filmed while we were recording "Rain of Blessings" here in Blue Spirit.
Every day we get closer to releasing new recordings for you.
So, let us celebrate this vibrant month of June, when the flowers are blooming and the birds sing and life continues to dance...
Sing, my beloved, sing!
After all, what else is there?
With love from us both,
