Reminders & Highlights
Golf Update
The Glenwood Springs Post Independent is working on a story about the golf course situation at RVR. That story should be published early next week in both print and on-line editions. The reporter is expected to talk to the new owner of the RVR golf course this weekend to learn about his possible plans for the golf property.

The RVR Board told the reporter that if the golf course owner, Crystal Outdoors LLC, has a specific proposal, it would evaluate that proposal based on the Board’s three criteria:
  • Does it change the nature of the community
  • Does it provide long-term sustainability of the community?
  • Does it preserve property values?

If you have any questions about the golf situation at RVR, please email us at: golfquestions@rvrcommunity.com

Holiday Lighting Removal
Per the RVR Holiday Lighting Policy, "Lighting may be on until January 31st. Holiday yard ornaments / decorations, visible holiday lights, and house icicle lights must be off and removed by January 31st. Outdoor tree lights must be turned off after January 31st, but homeowners have until March 1st to remove tree lights."
Pick up After Your Pet
Our cold and snowy Carbondale winter has been great for skiing in the mountains, and for cross-country skiing on the RVR golf course. Many of you are taking advantage of the cross-country trails prepared recently by golf superintendent Chad Weaber on the front nine.

For those of you bringing your dogs along as you cross-country ski the golf course, please remember to pick up any messes your dog makes. And, don’t forget — Carbondale’s leash laws apply to all open space in town, except designated dog parks. So, please leash your dogs while on the RVR golf course.
Thank you for being courteous to your fellow RVR homeowners!
Fitness Programming

Saturday Spin with John

We have added a Saturday spin class at 8:15 a.m. with John Norton. Challenge yourself with this high intensity interval class; but don't let that scare you away, because you control your speed and resistance. This class is appropriate for all levels and ages!
