January is a popular time to set health goals. If being more active is one of your 2023 goals, Kreg Kinnaman has some advice: Consider working with a fitness associate.
One of four fitness associates in the MNPS Employee Wellness Center, Kreg knows that getting started can be a little intimidating. So we asked him what it’s like to work with a fitness associate.
Here Kreg answers some frequently asked questions like: Are fitness associates available before or after school? and What if I don't live near the Wellness Center?

If you have diabetes, getting a diabetic eye exam every year is vital.
That’s because you’re at higher risk for vision problems like retinopathy. And early stages of this vision-robbing condition often have no symptoms. The sooner it’s detected, the easier it is to treat and the more likely your vision can be saved.
Good news: You can get a diabetic eye exam at any of the MNPS Health Care Centers. You don’t have to be an established patient. We can forward your results to your primary care provider or endocrinologist.
To schedule an exam or ask questions, call 615-259-8755.
