Dear Sakai Families,
Thank you so much for your participation in our family nights last week! We really appreciate your partnership making the start of this year a success.
This Friday, October 1st, will start our annual school fundraiser, the COHO Run. We are excited to announce that this year's COHO Run will conclude with a run for kids on October 22nd at the Woodward track.
Funds raised will help support enrichment and educational resources such as teacher grants, grade-level assemblies, classroom and teacher supplies, subscriptions, educational programs, and community events/parent resources. Your PTO is committed to funding experiences and events to foster a strong sense of engagement and community among all. Our goal is to collectively raise $70,000 (about $145.00 per student), though donations of any amount are gratefully accepted.
Also, these additional awards will be given:
● Most Spirited Award for top 5th and top 6th grade class will enjoy a pajama day with hot cocoa
● Extra recess for the top 5th and 6th grade class for most earnings
● Entry into a weekly drawing for gift cards from local businesses
● School-wide Hogwarts celebration for 100% participation
I would like to reiterate that we understand these past few years have been difficult financially for so many of us. We truly are grateful for any financial support.
