Halloween Tips for Children
Halloween is one of our favorite holidays at Greenbriar...what's not to love about trick or treating for children AND adults? This year, however, Halloween is a bit different due to Covid-19. Here are a few essential tips from the CDC to ensure a safe Halloween for you AND your little ones:
1) A costume mask (such as for Halloween) is not a substitute for a cloth face mask. A costume mask should not be used unless it is made of two or more layers of breathable fabric that covers the mouth and nose and doesn’t leave gaps around the face.
2) Do not wear a costume mask over a protective cloth face mask because it can be dangerous if the costume mask makes it hard to breathe. Instead, consider using a Halloween-themed cloth mask.

#GivingTuesday, Tuesday, December 1st.
Giving Tuesday is an international day of giving, traditionally celebrated the Tuesday AFTER Thanksgiving (and the day AFTER Cyber Monday). Please mark the date and stay tuned for some special announcements around giving to Greenbriar on that day!
Greenbriar's Annual Wrapping Center Opens December 4!
Come to the Oglethorpe Mall and have your gifts professionally wrapped by our team of TRAINED wrappers! (yes, our volunteers receive expert training!). We provide the paper and ribbons...you provide the presents! Our new space will provide for social distancing AND merriment! Interested in helping to sponsor this year's event? We would LOVE to help promote your organization at the event, on our social media, and..this next newsletter could have YOUR LOGO! If you are interested in promoting your business, and DOING GOOD for a child, please contact email@example.com.
And a final note: Greenbriar cannot exist without YOUR help. Your gift helps those who are most vulnerable. On behalf of the children, thank you.
