Domestic Violence Awareness Month

YWCA held our 8th annual Domestic Violence Awareness Month campaign in October. All month long, YW advocates were out in the community raising awareness of domestic violence by hosting educational workshops and trainings. Staff painted the town purple through the hanging of purple ribbons across Downtown Knoxville and Oak Ridge. Additionally, local businesses supported DVAM efforts through percentage nights benefitting the YWCA's life-saving victim advocacy services. Thank you Moe's Southwest GrillBlaze Pizza, Chipotle Mexican Grill, Hard Knox PizzaFreddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers, and Cruze Farm for your support!
