TBS Families,

I pray you are doing well and staying healthy. The WIAA has modified the upcoming 2020-21 sports seasons in response to COVID-19.  There will now be four WIAA sanctioned seasons where they have moved moderate and high risks seasons from beginning in the fall and postponed them to the late winter/spring.
Some important notes:
  • Small pod workout groups will continue through August 16th
  • Sports seasons are not being cancelled  
  • Some seasons are delayed and some are shortened 
  • State playoffs are still planned at this time
  • Athletes will be able to particiapte in all four seasons 
  • More details will be forthcoming including information on youth and middle school sports. 
Below is a breakdown of High School sports for the 2020-21 school year by season.  Please note that TBS does not participate in all the sports listed below. To see the official WIAA statement and tentative calendar, please see the WIAA website.
Season 1 -  Cross Country, Softball, Golf, Tennis, Possible Girls swim (approximate season dates: Sept 7 - Nov 2)
*Certain Benchmarks will need to be met for the above sports to be allowed to participate in Season 1.  If any of the above teams do not meet the criteria that will be coming out, then they would move to Season 3 or 4.
Season 2 -  Basketball, Bowling, Boys Swim & Dive, Gymnastics, Cheerleading, Wrestling (approximate season dates: Jan 4 - March 1)
Season 3 -  Volleyball, Girls 1B/2B Soccer, Football, possible Girls Swim & Dive (approximate season dates: March 1 - April 25; March 1 - May 3 Football)
Season 4 -  Tennis, Fastpitch/Softball, Track and Field, Baseball, Golf, 1A-4A Soccer, Dance/Drill (approximate season dates: April 25 - June 21)
All dates listed above are subject to change.

My hope is that our TBS families will stay encouraged!  TBS will be opening our doors in September for full-time, on campus learning and we will continue to ask for God's wisdom and patience when changes come into play. 
As details fall into place and schedules are re-worked, I will continue to update you.  We still consider any opportunity to work with our athletes, help them improve, and encourage them an absolute blessing.
