The Life Cycle of Quaker Meetings
Earlier this month, New York Yearly Meeting (NYYM) and guest-editor Emily Provance published a new series, The Life Cycle of Meetings. The series offers reflections, queries, personal stories, and historical accounts of the ways in which Quaker Meetings experience the same life-cycle as the natural world. From stories about new meetings, and meetings that grew so fast that they had to make unexpected adjustments to meetings undergoing significant transitions and meetings laying themselves
down - the series honors the universal-truths of birth, growth, decline, and death as experienced by Friends throughout the world.
