UNT VALUES
The UNT System is in process of rolling out a set of system-wide shared values for all of our system schools – including UNT – to guide the way we do business as a university.
Student Government Association President Jermaine Turner spoke to the meaning of the "Show Your Fire" value and UNTS Student Regent Andy McDowall spoke about the "Courageous Integrity" value at a Jan. 26 event where the values were introduced to community members. As part of this initiative, President Smatresk is calling on all faculty and staff to think about “How can we put these [values] into effect every day in a way that's meaningful to us, in a way that helps us do our jobs better, in a way that helps us to support the students at this institution?”
Stay tuned as we share more about the values in upcoming issues of UNT Weekly. Next week we’ll be focused on our We Care value.
