Fiber Optic News
Fiber Optics Coming to Arcadia We are currently in the pre-construction phase of building a fiber optic network in our Arcadia telephone exchange. Once complete we will be able to offer Phone, Digital TV and Fiber Internet at speeds of 100Mbps, 500Mbps, and 1Gbps. Folks residing within the Arcadia exchange will be receiving a letter with complete information in the coming weeks. In the meantime, to be one of the first on the list, you can see our pricing and sign up online now here. We are very excited to be bringing fiber to Arcadia in 2021!
Glenwood Fiber Construction Moving Right Along Despite the snow and cold temperatures, construction crews are working hard on constructing our fiber network in the Glenwood area made possible by a grant from the CARES Act. The goal of the grant is to bring reliable internet services to those who are currently deemed as underserved. Our service offerings in this area are Phone and Fiber Internet with speeds of 100Mbps, 500Mbps or 1Gbps. We are currently taking signups for those within the boundaries of this area. Please call or signup online today to make sure a fiber drop is constructed to your home. You can sign up online here.
More Fiber in the Glenwood AreaAs part of a public/private partnership between WIN & Mills County, we will be constructing fiber optic networks to areas of Mills County beyond our Glenwood CARES area. These areas will be outlined on our website soon! Once outlined, you will be able to sign up for services to make sure a fiber drop is constructed to your home. You will be receiving information in the mail in the coming weeks but you can also keep an eye on our website here where you will be able to sign up once these areas are outlined. Services available will include Phone and Fiber Internet with speeds up to 1Gbps. |
