The Office of Immersion Resources is committed to supporting students through all phases of Immersion planning. Our office hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. We currently offer in-person, Zoom and phone advising on the Immersion portal. Students can also send an email to immersion@vanderbilt.edu with questions. 
The Office of Immersion Resources student newsletter provides up-to-date information on Immersion events and programs for the week ahead. These events are open to all students, whether they are pursuing Immersion or they want to know more about a given topic.

The Office of Immersion Resources welcomes students, faculty, and staff to attend an Open House on Thursday, September 2 from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome to come meet the OIR team, including Amy Johnson, the Associate Provost for Immersion and Experiential Learning. Visit our new space in Suite 109 in the Student Life Center, and learn more about Immersion Vanderbilt. 
Drop-ins are welcome, and no RSVP is needed.
Did you have an incredible internship over the summer? Showcase your work to the university! The OIR is hosting the inaugural Civic & Professional showcase on October 7. The event is open to all undergraduate students across the university who wish to showcase the experiences they have completed during their time at Vanderbilt. Submissions are due by September 21.

The Fall 2021 Vanderbilt Undergraduate Research Fair is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 30. A virtual fair will be held from 3 to 4 p.m. on Zoom, followed by an in-person event in the Student Life Center Commodore Ballroom from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Students who have completed research while an undergraduate at Vanderbilt are encouraged to apply. Research from all disciplines will be showcased at the event. Students can present a physical poster or a presentation on a personal device. Students can note on their proposal form which presentation session they would like to participate in. Proposals are due Wednesday, Sept. 8.

The virtual game night will be on September 22, 7:00 - 8:00 p.m.

Tutor Nashville is a partnership between Vanderbilt University and Metro Nashville Public Schools (MNPS). Through the program, Metro Schools students are paired with Vanderbilt tutors to receive free, one-to-one, academic mentoring and support.  

  Vanderbilt tutors and their students will meet online during school hours three times each week for thirty minutes. No prior training is required -- all tutors will be provided with professional development, guidance, and support from experienced educators.
