Our Fiber Network Is Expanding
Our fiber footprint will be expanding dramatically within the next couple of years as we construct fiber in and around many communities in Iowa. If you have friends or family who live within one of our expansion project areas, and they have not yet signed up for fiber, you can refer them! If they sign up, you both receive a $50 bill credit. You can refer as many people as you’d like. Be sure to have them give your name at sign up as this must be given at the time of sign up. Please help spread the word that we will have Client Experience Specialists at the Dedham Legion Hall on Thursday, February 24th and at the Halbur Community Center on Thursday, March 3rd from Noon-7pm both days. They will be there to answer questions and sign customers up for fiber optics. More information regarding our fiber optic expansion projects can be found at fiber.westianet.com. |

On February 8th we were delighted to receive a visit from Iowa Economic Development Director Debi Durham and Iowa Finance Authority Director Michael Gould, as well as members of the Carroll Area Development Corporation and Carroll Chamber of Commerce. They were able to tour the facility and had great discussion regarding the impact our industry has on quality of life in Iowa. 
Be sure to join us the 4th Friday of every month at the Carroll Public Library. We will have a UScellular Sales Consultant on hand to answer your individual questions regarding the use of your smart phone. We look for ward to seeing you there. 
On February 11th WIN employees joined Carroll Public Schools in their Choose Kindness Initiative. We were proud to join them in this great cause! 
We were recently able to host a week-long Wireshark Wi-Fi Training for Technicians, IT Professionals and Customer Service Representatives in our Training Room at our Carroll Operations Facility in Carroll. Employees from other telecommunications companies as well as our own employees took part in this very informative training. 
Our UScellular agency was recently named Carroll County's Best Cellular and Wireless Phone Store by the readers of the Carroll Times Herald. We very much appreciated the award and most importantly, appreciate our loyal customers. Thank you! |
