SUU Leades State Enrollment Growth
SUU Leads Enrollment Growth in Utah System
Spurred by an increase in the enrollment of online students, SUU led all other institutions in the Utah System of Higher Education in year to year growth. We experienced a 5.28 percent enrollment growth and now have 14,330 students in both on-campus and online programs.

Michael Bahr Named Interim Managing Director
Michael Bahr Named Interim Managing Director
The Utah Shakespeare Festival (USF) announced last month the return of Michael Bahr ('89) to the Festival as the interim managing director. Michael served as education director for the USF for more than twenty years before retiring and becoming the director at Gateway Preparatory Academy where he served since July.

Smart Defense
Smart Defense Training Comes to Campus
SUU recently partnered with the Elizabeth Smart Foundation to become the first university to incorporate Smart Defense classes into its course offerings, and is part of the Department of Kinesiology and Outdoor Recreation.

Helen Foster Snow Cultural Center
Helen Foster Snow Cultural Center Opens
Creating a valuable platform for sharing Chinese language and culture, our campus has established the Helen Foster Snow Cultural Center. Born in Cedar City, Helen left for China in 1931 where she lived through World Ward II. She became a journalist, author, humanitarian, and bridge-builder between the United States and China.

The Piano Guys Return to SUU
Back by popular demand, SUU presents The Piano Guys live in concert with a brand new holiday show on Saturday, December 10, at 8 p.m in the America First Event Center. Tickets are on sale now at the Thunderbird Ticket Office.

Join the SUU Music Department for their annual holiday concert featuring the Wind Symphony, OPUS, Concert Choir, and the Symphony Orchestra as we celebrate the holiday season and 125 years of SUU.
