Global Goals, Greater Atlanta podcast releases new episode on HBCU Green Fund
| |
We’ve released the second episode of our new podcast: Global Goals, Greater Atlanta! This episode features an interview with Felicia Davis and Illai Kenney, two Atlanta-based climate activists heavily involved with the HBCU Green Fund. In this episode, the mother-daughter duo discusses sustainability as an administrative tool in higher education, and how individuals can take strides towards a green economy in their everyday lives.
Our podcast host Amal Marjani Bennett-Judge has also written an accompanying article about research she and her colleague Dalero Berkeley, a Mechanical Engineer and Data Scientist from Massachusetts Institute of Technology did showing how 103 historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) quietly reached for United Nations Sustainable Development Goals despite their communities’ carrying unequal energy burdens. Read more.

We are also looking for more great guests for our podcast, and we need your help! If you would like to be a guest, or know someone you'd love to hear from, or a topic you'd love to learn more about, please fill out this form. Thanks!
