- A huge shout-out to our office associate extraordinaire here at Lucille M. Brown Middle School, Ms. Alecia Farley. She is dependable, reliable, and always professional in her communications with parents and staff. Her smiles and greetings in the morning always help us to start our day off right. For two months she practically held down our front office at Lucille Brown by herself. Her dedication to her job, parents, and staff is to be commended. Thank you, Ms. Farley, for being amazing!
- I would like to give a shout out to Anne Forrester at Boushall Middle School for her time, dedication, and support, of not only her students, but also her colleagues, even and especially ones in other buildings. Thank you, Anne!
- I would like to shout-out Roberta Aigbokhaevbo, a business teacher at Thomas Jefferson High School, for being featured in the Federal Reserve Bank Newsletter. She is the 5th District Teacher Spotlight for the bank.
- I would like to say thank you to Ms. Vernet at Franklin Military for always going the extra mile for her students and coworkers.
- I would like to shout-out Dr. Tabatha Spurlock, CTE academic advisor, for submitting a proposal to present at the PBIScon23. The PBIS Rewards committee reviewed numerous breakout session proposals. Her proposal (Connecting PBIS Rewards and CTE through Volunteerism with a Schoolwide, Student Led School Store) was one of the submissions approved by the committee for the 2023 PBIS Rewards Virtual Conference. Congratulations, Dr. Spurlock, we are so proud of you!
- I'd love to shout-out some of the exceptional secondary science leads – Doug Barrett (TJ), Kathy Curran-Boyd (Huguenot), John Nunez (Franklin), Carolyn Waller (JM), Beth Hosick (RVA), and Rosie Tucker (Albert Hill). They recently met with Maureen Campbell of the JRA at Bellemeade Park to do water quality sampling and watershed research that they can bring back to help their school teams to develop meaningful watershed educational experiences for all of our secondary science students! We are lucky to have such talented and dedicated science leaders in our schools!
| |
| We Love You Here – Head over to the RPS Love Store and check out the new "We Love You Here" t-shirts, hoodies, and more! Proceeds will go to partners who support our attendance efforts.
| |
