DAILY SCREENING QUESTIONS - NEW!
Daily Screening Questions

NEW! The Department of Health updated its guidance regarding schools' daily screening questions.

  1. Do you have any of the following symptoms (in the last 24 hours) that are not caused by another condition*?

Fever (100.4°) or chills - Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing - Cough - Fatigue - Sore Throat
Muscle or body aches - Congestion or runny nose - Headache - Nausea or vomiting - Diarrhea - Recent loss of taste or smell

  2. Have you been in close contact with anyone with confirmed COVID-19? UPDATED

  3. Have you had a positive COVID-19 test for active virus in the past 10 days, or are you awaiting results of a COVID-19 test? NEW

  4.  Within the past 14 days, has a public health or medical professional told you to self-monitor, self isolate, or self-quarantine because of concerns about COVID-19 infection? NEW

Families need to review the questions daily with their students prior to sending the students to school. To help facilitate the process, download and print this sign to keep in a prominent place in your home. Remember, if your student is unable to answer “no” to all the questions, then they need to stay home.

ON THE BALLOT: TWO RENEWAL LEVIES FOR BISD

The February 9th special election is just around the corner.

On the ballot are two renewal measures for BISD.
Did you know? Combined, the two levies provide 18% of BISD’s annual revenue.

Did you know? Washington state does not provide any dedicated funding for technology. Instead, districts must rely on local funding to provide necessary devices, hardware, software, networks, etc.
